Abidemi Ayeni, is currently a Science Faculty at the Tarrant County College since 2015. She previously served as a civilian Pediatric Medical officer with the 445 Nigerian Air Force Hospital, Sam Ethnam NAF base, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria between 1990 and 1993 before proceeding on her residency training in Community Medicine at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos between 1993 and 1998. She returned to 445 Nigerian Air Force Hospital, Ikeja to serve as the Consultant Maternal and Child Health Physician for the hospital between 1998 and 2008 before relocating to the United States.
Abidemi received her medical degree (M.B,B.S) from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and obtained her Fellowship in Public Health (FMCPH) after her residency training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, and obtained a Master’s in Public Health (MPH)Epidemiology and a Masters in Health Service Administration both from the University of North Texas in the United States. She also currently serves on the Board of Rehoboth Bible Ministries Inc., Grand Prairie, Texas.
