Afi Amouh has served as an advocate for vulnerable populations for almost two decades. She joined Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC) in 2011 where she works as a Medical Social Worker. In her current position Afi provides psychosocial and behavioral services to in-center dialysis patients utilizing Social Work theories and accepted methods of practice. Before FKC, Afi was a Case Manager and a Life Skills Specialist with Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth from 2006 to 2011, where she coordinated multidisciplinary services to Maternal and Child Health program participants and refugees in Tarrant County. Between 2004 and 2005, she was a Service Coordinator with Mental Health Mental Retardation of Tarrant County.
Afi obtained a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in 2004, and later obtained Afi obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M University in 2017. She is a licensed Master Social Worker in Texas (LMSW). Throughout her education and career, Afi has received several awards of excellence and service. She has served on the Board of Hope For You since 2019. Afi is married and has three children.
