Food price is increasing, and families are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of food. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the food-at-home price index increased by 10% over the previous 12 months.
Several states are now withdrawing the emergency benefits instituted during the pandemic, and this only makes things worse for many families. Food insecurity is causing these households to turn to food banks because of the sharp spike in grocery prices.
At Hope For You, we believe children and families should not suffer hunger. Our monthly food distribution and food pantry services continue to be our avenue to support families in the communities we serve. Our January food distribution
was a success!
We are always happy when we see smiles on the faces of our community members. Our organization continues to serve more than 100 households during our food distribution. Do you know anyone in need of food? Come to our distribution center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am-1 pm. Our team of volunteers is always ready to assist. Hope For You, restoring the power of Hope, One smile at a Time!
